Meeting Description:

Have you been itching to talk about plants and gardening how-to’s? This month we are hosting expert gardeners to answer your burning questions about planting for pollinators and other wildlife! We welcome novice and expert gardeners alike to attend and join what will be a fun discussion.

Panelists:

John Root, landscaper, naturalist and founder of Pollinate Amherst; Heidi Dollard, co-chair of the Mass Pollinator Network Steering Committee and Master Gardener; and Jean Devine, environmental educator, native plant coach, and founder and principal of Devine Native Plantings. Moderator: Rosemary Malfi, Pollinator Network Coordinator, NOFA/Mass.

More details about monthly meetings:

The Massachusetts Pollinator Network is hosting monthly meetings for participants from across the state to exchange knowledge, ideas, and updates about local actions. Whether you’re a seasoned community organizer or new to pollinator protection concerns, all are welcome!

In a typical meeting, we will spent some time conversing in small groups and reviewing network updates, including new information about ongoing initiatives like our nursery outreach campaign. We often have a “special guest” who will present informally or lead us in discussion about a topic of interest.

We generally meet last Tuesdays of the month but this month we are meeting the last Thursday. There will be no August meeting.
