Event Information:

Landscape designer Evan Abramson will be leading a seminar entitled “Native Plant-Pollinator Interactions” on June 24th, 2:30-4 PM. The Massachusetts Pollinator NetworkHousatonic Heritage, and OLLI are offering free public registration to this event in celebration of National Pollinator Week.

This seminar is part of the course “Honoring Our Indigenous Heritage: Native People, Plants, Pollinators” which is being offered by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Berkshire Community College (more info about the full course here).

 

More about the speaker: Evan Abramson is a results-driven designer and planner on a mission to rebuild biologi

cally diverse ecosystems through pollinator-plant interactions. As Founder and Principal of Landscape Inter

actions, he works closely with project partners along every step of the process, from conception through design, implementation, and maintenance. Since 2019, his company Landscape Interactions has installed nearly 300 acres of habitat in the Northeast, specifically targeting at-risk bee and Lepidoptera (butterfly & moth) species for each project location. He holds a Master of Science in Ecological Design from the Conway School of Landscape Design, Certificates in Permaculture Design and Biodynamic Gardening, and is the author of numerous publications, including the Great Barrington and Lincoln Pollinator Action Plans.
